How to become a Fitness League teacher

Are you ready to join the Fitness League, in inspiring people to improve fitness, feel great and look good?

If this sounds like you, why not train in our unique, holistic exercise using the Bagot Stack principles focusing on strengthening the core for posture in action.

Training as a Fitness League teacher will provide you with a Active IQ Award Level 3 Certificate in Teaching Exercise, Movement and Dance and the EMD UK (Fitness League) Level 3 Certificate in Teaching Exercise, Movement and Dance to Adults (Bagot Stack)

How do you learn?

Courses are delivered using a blend of online learning, work packs, face to face contact days and web based activities with your peers. The course is interactive and supported and you will receive positive and constructive help and feedback from your course trainer.

How are you assessed?

  • Exams for L2 & L3 anatomy, principles of exercise, fitness and health
  • Work sheets for knowing how to support your clients and health & safety
  • Successful completion of work packs on the Bagot Stack principles and progressive exercise, movement analysis, working with older clients and the pre and post natal arena, equality and diversity and music
  • Successful completion of a portfolio of evidence including schemes of work, class plans and reflection notes
  • 3 formative teaching assessments
  • Summative teaching assessment
  • Minimum of 9 hours teaching practice (including at least 1 hour on course)
