You will gain two awards on successful completion of the Fitness League training:-

CYQ Level 3 Certificate in Advanced Fitness Instructing (Bagot Stack)

the Fitness League Teachers' Certificate
The joint qualification enables you to:

confidently and successfully teach Fitness League classes

join the Fitness League nationwide network of teachers, members and classes

work on a self-employed basis

benefit from preferential insurance cover

join the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS)

benefit from marketing and promotion support

attend Continual Professional Development (CPD) courses nationally and regionally

Training courses take place place throughout the UK at regular intervals
They are delivered through the Exercise, Movement and Dance Partnership (EMDP) of which the Fitness League is a founder member.
The course comprises of 25 contact training days, plus home study, taken in 4 stages:-

Stage 1 The Orientation Day - provides an opportunity to learn more about both the training course and the career which follows
-
Stage 2 Directed Home Study - working from home covering some simple tasks to broaden your knowledge about systems of exercise, movement and dance and to gain some practical experience
-
Stage 3 Eight trainer-led days to cover the generic skills providing the underpinning knowledge to become a teacher and deliver successful exercise classes
-
Stage 4 Sixteen Fitness League discipline specific training days to learn the Bagot Stack principles on which Fitness League classes are based. All aspects of running classes are covered from setting up and promoting them to the practicalities of teaching.
Successful qualification is based upon:

continual assessments, together with a final assessment, in anatomy and physiology

presentation of course work as an assessment portfolio
-
final assessments in teaching and personal performance
